Safety And Reliability Engineer(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Knowledge and skills in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communications engineering, or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience in areas of responsibility
- Knowledge and experience in un-manned Space Systems, particularly payload system
- Knowledge and experience in Safety and Reliability Engineering in Aeronautical or Space sector
- Knowledge and experience of hazard analysis and fault tree analysis
- Knowledge of Safety processes, regulations and guidelines (ECSS-Q-ST-40C, ARP 4761, ARP 4754A)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and strong sense of responsibility
- High level of commitment, flexibility and strong service mentality
- Very good written and spoken English and German
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Tasks
- Perform RAMS tasks at spacecraft system, subsystem, or equipment level
- Conduct safety assessments at various product maturity stages
- Evaluate safety for operations, removal, and repair activities
- Establish reliability, availability, and maintainability analyses
- Prepare FMECA, HSIA, and fault tree analyses
- Define RAMS requirements in collaboration with equipment suppliers
- Ensure compliance with defined requirements during design development
- Prepare hazard analyses for spacecraft, equipment, and ground support equipment
- Collaborate with FDIR architects on failure detection, isolation, and recovery
- Prepare documentation and present work results
