Rotor blade inspection and repair on wind turbines, using laminating resins and composite materials, at wind turbine manufacturer. FISAT/IRATA rope access qualification preferred. Electrician qualification provided.

Requirements

  • Vocational training in electrical, metalworking, mechanical, automotive, building services engineering, or comparable technical qualification
  • Specialist knowledge of epoxy resins, glass fibre, carbon fibre
  • Ideally, rope access technician qualification (FISAT or IRATA)
  • High safety awareness, especially with hazardous substances
  • Independent technical report preparation and documentation
  • Willingness to travel within Germany (during week)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft and iOS operating systems/apps
  • Ideally, SAP experience
  • Driving licence, ideally class C1E
  • Very good German skills
  • Good English skills

Tasks

  • Service and maintain wind turbines on-site
  • Inspect and repair rotor blades with a team
  • Perform modification work to improve turbine performance
  • Work with laminating resins and composite materials
  • Document your work digitally

Education

  • Vocational certification
