Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA is a plus
  • Successful sales experience in medical device or healthcare industry, preferably diabetes products
  • Success in a sales leadership role and ability to manage high-performing teams
  • Proven relationships with healthcare professionals, particularly endocrinologists
  • Experience in training and mentoring sales teams on product knowledge and sales strategies
  • Ability to motivate and lead a high-performing sales team
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing strategies
  • Excellent skills for engaging and influencing stakeholders
  • Strong data analysis capabilities for informed decision-making
  • Competent in CRM systems and data management tools
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining key industry relationships
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Valid driving license required

Education

Bachelor's degree

Work Experience

approx. 4 - 6 years

Tasks

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and market share
  • Maintain knowledge of the local healthcare system and reimbursement processes
  • Build and sustain relationships with key diabetes decision-makers
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the Omnipod® System and related products
  • Train the team on product knowledge and technology
  • Coach Territory Managers and Clinical Services Managers on commercial strategies
  • Ensure compliance with credentialing and training requirements
  • Conduct field sales activities professionally and in line with marketing strategy
  • Hire, develop, and retain top sales and clinical talent
  • Oversee budget utilization for commercial and training resources
  • Collaborate with commercial and corporate teams to achieve shared goals
  • Complete all administrative tasks promptly and within budget
