R&D Specialist - Electronics Hardware(m/w/x)
Designing electronic hardware for coffee machines, focusing on quality, reliability, and safety. Extensive consumer appliance hardware development experience required. 4-day work week, 6 weeks vacation.
Requirements
- Extensive electronics hardware development experience, ideally in consumer appliances
- Experience with EMS operations and offshore manufacturing, preferably in China
- Strong expertise in EMC/ESD testing, safety certifications, and DFMEA methodologies
- Proven record in hardware design, industrialization, and troubleshooting for high-volume appliances
- Prior engagement with semiconductor suppliers and technology scouting
- English fluency
- French and/or German is an asset

- Lead design architecture for electronics

- Secure modular hardware solutions
- Secure future-ready hardware solutions
- Define hardware requirements
- Validate hardware requirements

- Support external partners for seamless integration

- Guard critical knowledge

- Own electronics architecture for new machines
