Description

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will focus on creating and maintaining automated test setups while also defining and executing manual tests. This role involves advocating for quality and testability, collaborating with other QA engineers, and ensuring features meet production standards.

Requirements

• •Several years of relevant professional experience in a technology-focused environment
• •Significant experience in conceptualization, execution, and development of automated and manual tests for front- and backend systems
• •Good working knowledge of testing frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright
• •Familiarity with CI/CD environments like GitLab
• •Comprehensive knowledge of RESTful APIs
• •Proficient level of spoken and written English
• •Great attention to detail
• •Strong sense of ownership and high-quality work
• •Strong communication and collaboration skills in an agile, interdisciplinary team
• •Passion for career and genuine interest in work
• •Experience with technologies and tools such as Cypress, Postman, Swagger, Kibana, BrowserStack, Selenium, or other testing-related tools
• •Awareness of data and IT security
• •Knowledge of the German language is a plus but not required

Tasks

• •Build and maintain an automated test setup for web applications and backend systems
• •Define and execute manual tests during each sprint
• •Communicate findings from manual tests
• •Establish test processes and advocate for testability
• •Promote user focus during the planning process
• •Help define quality gates for production-ready features
• •Contribute to the exchange of ideas with other QA engineers
• •Develop QA best practices
