Requirements
- Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Medical Technology, or comparable technical field, or business/quality-focused degree with technical orientation
- Several years' experience leading cross-functional transformation projects
- Strong expertise in quality assurance and regulated environments
- Knowledge/certifications in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001/13485 Auditor, DGQ, TÜV)
- Project management certifications (e.g., IPMA C/D, GPM, PMI PMP/CAPM, PRINCE2)
- Experience with structured problem-solving methods (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, RCA)
- Experience with digital PLM (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill), ERP, QMS (e.g., SAP, TrackWise)
- Understanding of regulated industries (medical devices), traceability, compliance (e.g., EU MDR, FDA, ISO 13485)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
- Ability to summarize and present complex technical matters
- Structured, analytical working style, strong conceptual abilities
- Independent working approach, resource awareness, pragmatic mindset
Tasks
- Plan, execute, and monitor the AIS First in Quality project.
- Lead an interdisciplinary project team.
- Develop a clear project structure.
- Define governance processes.
- Establish transparent communication channels.
- Ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and decision rights.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Actively remove project roadblocks.
- Manage project timelines, risks, and budget.
- Implement transparent reporting.
- Apply structured change management.
- Derive concrete measures, work packages, and outcomes from the strategy.
- Ensure alignment of digital PLM concepts with operational requirements.
- Prevent fragmented activities through prioritization.
- Maintain focus on high-impact results.
- Coordinate the project with digital and quality initiatives.
- Support cultural shift to data excellence and proactive quality.
- Develop meaningful KPIs.
- Create central dashboards.
- Design data-driven control mechanisms.
- Ensure data use for preventive quality decisions.
- Support lifecycle benchmarking.
- Identify quality improvement levers.
- Engage key stakeholders through structured communication.
