Requirements

  • Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
  • At least 5 years of professional experience
  • Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, MES and ERP systems
  • Independent work with analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid project management skills and enjoyment of driving projects
  • Thriving in high-performing teams and contributing to collaboration
  • Clear and confident communication with stakeholders
  • Fluent German and good English skills

Tasks

  • Lead major automation engineering projects from concept to implementation
  • Ensure projects meet legal requirements and Mars engineering standards
  • Develop and apply global control standards
  • Contribute to the site’s Controls Masterplan
  • Act as key contact for Global Technical Engineering & Controls team
  • Lead project team members and external contractors
  • Foster collaboration and ownership within project teams
  • Encourage proactive performance and accountability
  • Work closely with factory departments for seamless project integration
  • Ensure project objectives are met in scope, time, budget, and cash flow
  • Manage project execution, functional support, and personal development
