Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in mission-critical IT operations and/or operational service leadership (NOC/SOC/IT Ops)
- Proven experience leading teams in shift or 24/7 environments
- Strong stakeholder management across Security, Infrastructure, Retail Operations and Business Units
- Demonstrated leadership in high-pressure situations; crisp, audience-appropriate communication during incidents
- ITSM/ITIL process understanding at leadership level (incident, problem, change)
- Familiarity with monitoring/alerting ecosystems and KPI/dashboard reporting
- Matura/HTL education; University degree is a plus
- B2 English proficiency; German is a plus
Tasks
- Own NOC product vision and roadmap
- Prioritize with stakeholders and the team
- Manage budget and results
- Ensure operational stability and SLA/OLA compliance
- Drive continuous improvement in monitoring, alerting, and incident/problem processes
- Establish transparent performance reporting with KPIs
- Lead cross-functional coordination during operational incidents
- Communicate clearly and timely to business and IT leadership
- Define and maintain runbooks, workflows, and escalation paths
- Drive operational discipline and readiness of 24/7 processes
- Elevate ITIL process maturity
- Standardize workflows
- Improve monitoring and incident workflows
- Manage telecom providers, MSPs, and tooling vendors
- Ensure vendor performance, SLAs, and service integration
- Manage risk for network operational stability
- Lead crisis management during major incidents
