Tasks
- Design and fabricate advanced microfluidic chips for organ-on-a-chip applications
- Generate human neural organoid cultures and optimize complex culture protocols
- Perform molecular phenotyping of on-chip generated model systems
- Conduct 3D modeling and simulations using AutoCAD, Blender, or COMSOL
- Lead microengineering tasks using clean room techniques such as photo/soft lithography and DRIE etching
- Utilize advanced imaging techniques, including confocal and light sheet microscopy
- Execute tissue sectioning and fluorescence in situ hybridization experiments
- Collaborate across the institute to integrate single-cell genomics data into chip development
