Requirements
- 10+ years relevant industry experience (sales, product specialist, private banking)
- Prior experience with German Wholesale/Financial Intermediary prospects/clients (additive)
- Demonstrable track record of successful client relationship development
- Good understanding of competitors, products, market trends, infrastructure, and developments
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets
- Ability to influence through consultative client approach
- Action orientation, accountability, commitment, drive, self-motivation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High level of integrity and trust
- Client-centric focus
- Strong academic background, including undergraduate degree
- Relevant professional qualification (IMC, CFA) or progress towards one (preferred)
- Belief in ability to excel in the role
Tasks
- Execute Wholesale sales strategy with intermediaries in Germany and Austria
- Provide dedicated client coverage to drive fund growth
- Build and nurture key contacts with strategic distribution partners
- Develop and maintain existing client relationships
- Highlight key focus funds and strategies to clients
- Identify new opportunities to partner with key firms
- Contribute to building buy list positions
- Develop industry relationships with Wholesale channel influencers
- Collaborate with Marketing and PR to align local strategies
- Contribute to brand awareness growth
- Participate in team sales meetings and strategy planning
- Travel within the region to support key accounts
- Contribute to client events, roadshows, and education
