- Experience with enterprise backup solutions
- Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
- Experience working with Cisco Routers and Switches
- Experience supporting Cisco Routers and Switches
Tasks
- Support Windows Servers and non-Windows appliances across multiple enclaves
- Optimize system operation and resource utilization
- Perform system capacity analysis and planning
- Assist users in accessing and using business systems
- Monitor and control computer operating systems
- Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems
- Set up and maintain multiple system types, primarily Windows Servers
- Analyze system faults and troubleshoot operating systems and hardware
- Run diagnostic tests on operating systems and hardware
- Evaluate and install developed software during testing phases
- Review and prepare documentation for systems, tests, and software installation
- Investigate and recommend methods and techniques for solutions
- Initiate preventive maintenance on operating systems
- Repair system and environment problems
- Administer system and environment solutions for multiple projects
- Interface with vendors for trouble calls
- Support planning of system/environment requirements for projects
- Provide work direction and guidance to others
- Support systems and applications on a geographically dispersed Windows 10 Enterprise network
- Perform Windows system administrator functions for a global Active Directory infrastructure
- Provide senior-level knowledge and Tier 1/2 support to the customer
- Perform Tier 1/2 infrastructure troubleshooting and support
- Configure and administer servers in your area of operation
- Provide remote support to customer servers and sites
- Travel to customer servers and sites as required
- Maintain and support Windows Server (2012R2, Server 2016, Server 2019)
- Provide administration and maintenance support for Windows Server systems
