Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Go, Rust, Java, or C++
  • Clean, testable, well-structured code writing
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals
  • Hands-on experience building or extending operators
  • Practical experience with Prometheus and Grafana or comparable observability tooling
  • Service instrumentation and meaningful alert/dashboard setup
  • Familiarity with core Kafka concepts
  • Production operations with Kafka
  • Experience with Istio or comparable service mesh
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible or Terraform
  • Familiarity with GitOps workflows
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in Kubernetes-native context
  • Passion for jobs

Tasks

  • Design and implement Kubernetes operators in Go
  • Maintain platform tooling for self-service simplicity
  • Develop operator-based platform for Kafka services
  • Extend platform with new services and capabilities
  • Create self-service solutions for multiple Kubernetes clusters
  • Operate and enhance Istio service mesh in Kubernetes
  • Ensure smooth and reliable service communication
  • Collaborate with platform engineers and product teams
  • Translate requirements into practical platform solutions
  • Work in an international, cross-organizational environment
