Requirements

  • Experience with NoSQL, graph databases, or comparable technologies
  • Understanding of graph and non-relational data modeling
  • Experience in database migration projects
  • Understanding of backend architectures and access patterns
  • Experience operating databases in cloud environments
  • Ability to translate requirements into data solutions
  • Availability for overlap with German business hours
  • Fluent English and advantageous German skills
  • Experience with relational and hybrid data architectures
  • Knowledge of graph workload performance optimization
  • Familiarity with IaC, CI/CD, and DevOps
  • Experience with database observability and monitoring
  • Exposure to backend technologies and programming languages
  • Strong ownership mindset and platform responsibility
  • Pragmatic problem-solver focused on sustainable solutions
  • Clear communication of complex technical concepts
  • Interest in platform engineering and team enablement
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and improve

Tasks

  • Design and operate NoSQL and graph database solutions
  • Own graph data models and query patterns
  • Migrate data from relational or file-based storage
  • Integrate database solutions into backend services
  • Evaluate and select appropriate database technologies
  • Ensure production performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Contribute to platform architecture and technical standards
  • Provide technical guidance and reviews for product teams
