Planning & Material Scheduling Specialist(m/w/x)
Creating process orders and ensuring material supply for food manufacturing at an international confectionery company. Logistics or production planning qualification with relevant material planning experience required. On-site plant operations.
Requirements
- Education/qualification in logistics, production planning, or economic science
- Relevant work experience in material planning, demand planning, inventory management, purchasing, and/or forecasting
- Fluent German and good English language skills
- Computer proficiency (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Advantageous experience in ERP (SAP) systems
- Excellent verbal/written communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and relationship management skills
Tasks
- Create process orders
- Manage and execute material orders for the plant
- Maintain floor and system inventory accuracy
- Ensure uninterrupted material supply for manufacturing
- Prevent waste
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate consistent material supply for production
- Proactively report production or vendor issues
- Enlist teams to prevent business impact
- Accommodate changes in production and delivery schedules
- Execute Material Requirement Planning (MRP) systems
- Define and maintain MRP system parameters
- Manage material call-off processes
- Set up new product supply chains with BD
- Monitor vendor conformance to schedule
- Build SAP planning system capability for key users
- Manage RM, PM, and FP inventory to KPI targets
- Participate in Plant DMS for operational excellence
- Support IBP preparation and dashboard completion
- Adhere to manufacturing compliance and governance standards
- Adopt Integrated Lean 6 Sigma (IL6S) ways of working
- Own site/area Pillar systems and processes
- Participate in Supply Network (SN) pillar activities
- Lead projects for supply chain loss analysis and elimination
- Develop SN capabilities for value and loss elimination
