Requirements
- •Master’s studies in Thermal Engineering, Sustainable Energy Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- •Good competence in Modelling and Simulation (Dymola/Modelica, gPROMS, AVEVA PS, or similar)
- •Good competence in programming (Python)
- •Good competence in experimental work (design, evaluation)
- •High commitment and teamwork skills
- •Interest in reading and writing scientific publications
- •Very good command of English (spoken and written), good German knowledge preferred

Tasks
- •Conduct a thorough literature review on immersion cooling technologies
- •Investigate waste-heat utilization through heat integration within thermal networks
- •Model and simulate dynamic cooling systems using Dymola
- •Perform experimental investigations on active cooling and heat pump systems
- •Develop control strategies for cooling systems
- •Test operation windows under various load conditions
- •Conduct techno-economic and feasibility analyses
