Requirements

  • University diploma or master's degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, cybernetics, systems engineering, mathematics, or physics
  • Strong foundation in systems theory and control, ideally including optimal control and trajectory planning
  • Proficiency in MATLAB or Python for modeling, simulation, and algorithm development
  • Experience with industrial control technology or PLC environments is an advantage
  • Willingness to work closely with industrial partners and collaborate with researchers
  • Strong analytical mindset, structured working style, and motivation for experimental validation

Tasks

  • Develop and optimize advanced trajectory-planning algorithms
  • Ensure real-time capability for fast, oscillation-free motion
  • Design control and state-estimation algorithms
  • Implement algorithms on industrial hardware (PLC)
  • Validate algorithms on industrial hardware (PLC)
  • Prepare and conduct laboratory experiments
  • Conduct experiments on production machinery
  • Analyze experimental results
  • Collaborate with industrial partners
  • Prepare scientific journal publications
  • Present research at scientific conferences
  • Participate in university teaching (if applicable)
