In this role, you will be part of a dynamic engineering team focused on developing and optimizing gas engines. Daily tasks will involve testing, analyzing performance parameters, and collaborating with various teams to enhance engine efficiency and emissions.

Requirements

• •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable technical field
• •Initial hands-on experience in internal combustion engine development
• •Strong interest in engine performance, combustion processes, and system optimization
• •Good interpersonal skills and comfort in a global matrix organization
• •Strong analytical thinking and structured, solution-oriented approach
• •Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Tasks

• •Develop and optimize gas engines
• •Improve steady-state and transient performance through simulation and testing
• •Contribute to gas engine development projects focusing on performance parameters
• •Plan and execute in-house engine testing on single- and multi-cylinder engines
• •Emphasize mixture preparation, gas exchange, ignition, combustion, and turbocharging
• •Analyze simulation and measurement results and draw technical conclusions
• •Prepare clear reports and documentation
• •Validate engine and component performance through testing at research institutes and customer sites
• •Collaborate with controls, design, mechanical engineering, and emissions aftertreatment teams
• •Work effectively in cross-functional and international project teams
