People Operations Partner(m/w/x)
Managing full employee lifecycle across Europe, including onboarding and offboarding for a global market research firm. 3+ years HR experience in fast-paced international settings required. Work from abroad (EU) option, subsidized Urban Sports Club membership.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, HR Management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in People Operations/HR in fast-paced international environment
- Fluent in German and English
- Hands-on experience with HRIS tools (ideally Personio or HiBob)
- Passion for operational HR and improving employee experience
- Payroll experience in Germany (Austria, France, Spain or UK experience is a plus)
- Experience with ticketing systems and structured SLA-based employee support
- Proactive improvement driving and ownership
- Empathy, organisation, process thinking, and solution-oriented mentality
- Clear, confident, and collaborative communication
Tasks
- Manage the full employee lifecycle across Europe
- Handle contracts and onboarding
- Address day-to-day employee requests
- Oversee employee offboarding
- Deliver an exceptional employee experience
- Manage payroll processes in Germany and Austria
- Collaborate with external tax partners
- Partner with the EOR provider
- Ensure smooth remote onboarding
- Facilitate compliant hiring across countries
- Support audits
- Ensure accurate employee data in HRIS
- Identify automation opportunities
- Improve operations
- Simplify operations
- Utilize AI tools for operations
- Own policy updates
- Manage tooling rollouts
- Develop process documentation
- Collaborate with IT on cross-functional processes
- Collaborate with Finance on cross-functional processes
- Collaborate with Legal on cross-functional processes
- Support office-related activities (if based in Hamburg)
