Onsite troubleshooting of software and hardware issues at client locations for a global IT consulting firm. Two years of relevant experience and German/English fluency required. Flexible working time models.
Requirements
- Two or more years of relevant experience
- Fluency in German and English
- ServiceNow ticket handling
- Software deployment and issue assistance (Standard & Non-Standard)
- Support for Microsoft Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office 365
- End-user IT device and software how-to assistance
- Standard and non-standard HW device support (peripherals)
- Basic HW support (Desktop & Laptop: RAM, Keyboard, SSD)
- Smart Hands experience (MFP, Printers, Scanners, Servers, Storage)
- Support for meeting room equipment, network cabling, Wi-Fi, routers, hubs, switches
- Document management (Asset, Knowledge, Site Operations Manual)
- IT stock management (incoming & outgoing goods)
- End-user training and education
- Willingness to work onsite at client locations
- Strong commitment to quality service and good interpersonal skills
Tasks
- Ensure efficient operation of IT systems.
- Provide maintenance for IT systems.
- Inspect and prioritize systems for high standards.
- Provide effective solutions for software and hardware issues.
- Respond to user inquiries.
- Guide users with simple how-to instructions.
- Document technical issues and solutions in the Knowledge Management System.
- Update knowledge articles with relevant information.
- Provide training and education to end users.
- Handle ServiceNow tickets.
- Assist with software deployment.
- Assist with standard software issues.
- Assist with non-standard software issues.
- Support Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Support Apple operating systems.
- Support Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Provide how-to assistance for end-user IT devices.
- Provide how-to assistance for end-user software.
- Provide how-to assistance for standard hardware.
- Provide how-to assistance for non-standard hardware.
- Provide basic hardware support for desktops and laptops.
- Perform RAM upgrades.
- Perform keyboard exchanges.
- Perform SSD/HD replacements.
- Provide 'Smart Hands' support for various teams.
- Support MFPs, standalone, and networked printers.
- Support scanners.
- Perform toner replacements for printers.
- Support servers and storage.
- Provide support for meeting room audio equipment.
- Provide support for meeting room video equipment.
- Support network cabling and port patching.
- Support Wi-Fi networks.
- Replace routers, hubs, and switches.
- Manage asset documentation.
- Maintain Knowledge Management documentation.
- Manage Site Operations Manuals.
- Manage incoming IT goods.
- Manage outgoing IT goods.
