Requirements

  • Masters degree, PhD, or similar qualification
  • Experience in Medical Physics and dosimetry
  • Experience with QA automation or tools
  • Experience with particle accelerators and equipment
  • Experience with commissioning complex medical devices
  • Advantageous Medical Physics certification
  • Very good English and basic German
  • Self-driven and autonomous project work
  • Hands-on mentality, flexibility, and teamwork
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Willingness to work in shifts

Tasks

  • Develop and implement new proton therapy technologies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on system improvements
  • Drive cross-departmental tasks with various technical experts
  • Design and implement an integrative QA framework
  • Support the MedAustron Expansion project initiatives
  • Assist with dosimetry and QA for patient treatments
  • Perform shift work focused on quality assurance
  • Bridge current and new therapy system operations
