- Knowledge of multiphysics simulation and FEM
- Experience with CAD and PLM tools such as Creo, Windchill, SolidWorks, Inventor, EPLAN
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., CodeBeamer) is desirable
Tasks
- Design and develop mechanical assemblies and mechatronic components
- Collaborate with Research and other engineering disciplines
- Transfer new technologies and concepts into market-ready solutions
- Develop innovative and technically advanced solutions
- Evaluate and prototype emerging technologies
- Define technical requirements and specifications
- Create 3D models, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation
- Develop and document quality-related documentation
- Plan and execute verification and system tests
- Analyze and implement cost optimization measures
- Maintain bills of materials and support product lifecycle management
- Set up, commission, and validate prototypes and development systems
- Coordinate and track engineering-related tasks
- Support project management in planning activities
- Represent Engineering in project teams
- Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, and suppliers
- Monitor technological trends in mechanics and mechatronics
- Ensure compliance with standards and regulations
- Document and present development results
