- Experience in automation technology (motors, drives, sensors)

- Experience in programming (e.g. Python or control-related languages)
- Experience in CAD design or rapid prototyping (e.g. 3D printing)
- Independent and structured work style
- Enjoyment of conceptual and hands-on development tasks
Tasks
- Familiarize yourself with automated dosing of powders, granulates, and liquids
- Conduct research on state-of-the-art commercial, semi-commercial, and modular dosing solutions
- Analyze existing solutions for cost efficiency, flexibility, dosing accuracy, and automation potential
- Develop a modular system concept with dosing units, weighing systems, containers, and utility modules
- Design hardware and software architecture, including interfaces, traceability, and workflow management
- Optionally support the implementation of a prototype or demonstrator, including semi-automated or robotic handling
- Document your work and coordinate with stakeholders from various technical disciplines

- Currently in higher education
