Requirements

  • University degree (preferably PhD) in a relevant area or equivalent
  • Can-do mentality, adaptability to changes, enthusiasm for digitalization and process automation
  • Excellent knowledge of analytical approaches and practical experience in handling complex analytical equipment
  • Excellent in MS data evaluation software and computer tools
  • Proficient with laboratory and/or technical equipment
  • Proficient scientific/technical writing and presentation skills
  • Future-Ready/Digital First mindset, leveraging data and digital tools
  • Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of German is a plus
  • Broad knowledge in protein/peptide/glycan separation approaches
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and R

Tasks

  • Design and plan analytical experiments using state-of-the-art equipment
  • Document and perform analytical experiments for protein characterization
  • Review and approve raw data, evaluating and interpreting results
  • Manage and maintain analytical equipment and specialized facilities
  • Ensure compliance with quality, ethics, health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Write protocols, scientific reports, and procedures independently
  • Develop and optimize analytical methods and implement new technologies
  • Conduct literature searches and facilitate knowledge exchange
  • Collaborate with other groups and sites based on project requirements
  • Lead associates in dedicated scientific tasks, providing guidance and training
  • Participate in or lead function-specific sub-teams and project tasks
