Manufacturing Engineering Internship(m/w/x)
Supporting Design-Transfer for a new blood gas analysis system, optimizing workflows for lean production. Master's student or recent graduate in relevant field required. Initial GxP/GCP knowledge a plus.
Requirements
- Enrolled Master student or recent graduate (within 12 months)
- Field of study: Life Sciences, Natural Sciences, Material Science, Engineering, or Process Management / Industrial Engineering
- Quality awareness and attention to detail
- Enjoyment of precise documentation according to GDP/GMP guidelines
- Initial knowledge of GxP or GCP desirable
- Passion for data-based process development
- Understanding of complex product quality and process relationships
- Strong communication skills
- Team spirit and collaboration skills
- Proficient German (at least B2 level)
- Proficient English (written and spoken)
- Non EU/EFTA students: enrollment during internship
- Non EU/EFTA students: internship as mandatory part of curriculum
Tasks
- Support Design-Transfer project for new blood gas analysis system
- Participate in cross-functional stakeholder meetings
- Analyze and optimize workflows for lean production
- Identify inefficiencies in existing processes
- Develop creative solutions for process improvement
- Present ideas and make well-founded decisions
- Create and harmonize manufacturing instructions (SOPs)
- Develop test instructions under strict quality requirements
- Participate in requirements management for new production apps
- Test digital documentation tools
- Optimize user experience (UX) in GMP environment
- Minimize error sources through innovative digital solutions
- Collaborate on process risk analyses (e.g., pFMEA)
- Manage formal change management processes
- Perform data-based performance analyses for production lines
Education
- Currently in higher educationOR
- Bachelor's degree
