Requirements
- Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, 8 years experience, or doctorate
- Good communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in helicopter development and maintenance
- Experience in project management, scheduling, risk and budget management (advantageous)
- Knowledge of customer operations, maintenance metrics, and helicopter systems
- Fluent English and German skills (advantageous)
- Willingness for occasional business trips
Tasks
- Lead maintenance improvement projects from inception to completion
- Manage project scheduling, risk mitigation, and budget oversight
- Report progress to the Chief Engineer and Program Management
- Bridge communication between the Design Office and Support & Services
- Coordinate with external hardware and engineering suppliers
- Manage relationships with regulatory bodies like EASA
- Liaise with end customers and hardware vendors
- Drive the change management process for maintenance modifications
- Navigate the certification roadmap for technical improvements
- Travel occasionally to the Marignane site, suppliers, or customers
