- 3+ years on top mobile-first consumer products
- Data-informed approach using analytics and metrics
- Experience in marketing design
- Experience in brand design
- Good communication with non-designers
- Ability to articulate design thinking
- Ability to push back when needed
- Genuine interest in latest technologies
- Interest in leveraging AI in work
- Motivation to grow into leadership role
- Fluent in English
- German language skills are a plus
Tasks
- Lead design strategy and execution for mobile and web products
- Take features from problem definition to launch, including research and design
- Establish and evolve the design system for consistency and scalability
- Define and maintain high design standards for all company outputs
- Plan and conduct user research, including interviews and usability testing
- Synthesize research findings into actionable insights for product direction
- Use data to inform and justify design decisions
- Advocate for user needs in team discussions
- Collaborate with the product manager to define and validate solutions
- Work with engineers to ensure design intent is implemented correctly
- Communicate design rationale to stakeholders at all levels
- Balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
- Develop scalable design processes and documentation
- Expand the design team and manage external partnerships as needed
- Oversee marketing design work, including branding and campaign visuals
- Raise the organization's design maturity
- Grow your role and responsibilities as the company scales
