Requirements
- Training or relevant professional experience in food production, catering, or comparable environment
- In-depth knowledge of food hygiene, cold chain management, and quality standards
- Structured, detail-oriented work style with strong understanding of organization and logistics
- Confidence in using IT systems (e.g., MSKU, Redzone, GSuite) for process control
- Solution-oriented, flexible, and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Leadership in a motivating and goal-oriented manner
- Comfort in different kitchen environments—hot, cool, or cold
Tasks
- Manage operational and disciplinary aspects of multiple kitchen areas
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards
- Monitor quality controls, storage, rotation, presentation, and temperature measurements
- Initiate corrective actions for any deviations
- Ensure efficient use and maintenance of equipment, materials, and resources
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Support company-wide initiatives
- Analyze performance indicators and conduct audits
- Report regularly to the Executive Chef
- Coordinate tasks and priorities across departments
- Ensure smooth production flow
- Manage accidents and incidents, initiating preventive measures
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations
- Support supervisors in their leadership roles
- Develop team members and foster a motivated, productive work environment
