Requirements
- Minimum HTL or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
- Basic knowledge of structural mechanics and finite element methods
- Initial experience with finite element simulation and software tools such as ABAQUS
- Fundamental programming skills or strong motivation to develop them
- Basic know-how of PCB, package buildup materials, or semiconductor technologies is an advantage
- Structured, analytical working style with good data analysis and documentation skills
- Open-minded, communicative team player with cross-functional and international mindset
- Fluent in English with solid MS Office and presentation skills
Tasks
- Conduct thermo-mechanical analyses
- Perform warpage, reliability, and failure analysis
- Manage thermal management tasks
- Act as interface to senior engineers, internal teams, and customers
- Work with international and cross-functional experts
- Deliver reliable simulation results
- Interpret experimental data
- Improve simulation methods and processes
- Execute mechanical, thermal, and thermo-mechanical simulations
- Support simulations using established methods
- Build and maintain simulation models
- Follow internal guidelines, standards, and procedures
- Perform pre-processing and post-processing
- Use multi-physics simulation software
- Contribute to validation and quality documentation
- Identify improvement potential in workflows
- Collaborate in cross-functional and international teams
- Promote best practices
- Develop understanding of material modeling
- Understand design and process impacts on simulation
- Support strategic and customer-related projects
- Define and document project tasks
- Coordinate project activities
