IT Site Support Associate I(m/w/x)
Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and network systems for a global precision power conversion leader. Advanced Windows, Apple OS, and TCP/IP networking knowledge required. Flexible working hours, international environment.
Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Windows 10/11, Apple OS, and TCP/IP networking
- Knowledge of Apple & Android Devices
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, antivirus/security tools, and PC troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage projects effectively
- Problem-solving mindset with sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Fluent in German and English, other languages are an advantage
- 3+ years in IT support roles with hands-on technical expertise
- Proven experience supporting Microsoft PC environments, Remote Sites and Remote Users via VPN
- Driving License
- Associate’s degree in Computer Information Systems
- A+ certification, MCP, and Windows 10/11 certification preferred
Tasks
- Support desktops, laptops, and network systems
- Manage system security, passwords, and data integrity
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Configure wireless devices for O365 email
- Install, update, and configure software
- Image, configure, and deploy new PCs
- Maintain PC inventory and support records
- Support phone systems and user training
- Collaborate with Service Desk and partners
- Test and recommend new software and OS
- Participate in IT improvement projects
- Provide after-hours support
