IT/OT Operations Engineer – Focus on Service Management & Lifecycle(m/w/x)
Ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable operation of digital services for a cloud solutions provider. Several years of IT/OT operations or service management experience required. Suitable for people with disabilities.
Requirements
- Several years of professional IT/OT, operations, or service management experience, ideally with ITIL background
- Solid knowledge of IT/OT systems, networks, security, or digital service operation
- Experience with SAP and/or ServiceNow systems (e.g., service, asset, lifecycle management)
- Responsibility for sub-projects or confident work in complex operational structures
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work, even in critical situations
- Team player with strong communication skills, confident in international environment
- Very good German and good English skills, written and spoken
Tasks
- Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable operation of digital services
- Maintain stable operation of IT/OT services throughout lifecycle
- Manage incidents, problems, changes, and releases using ITIL best practices
- Handle operational tasks and 2nd-level support for IT/OT systems
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor operational activities on customer installations
- Contribute to IT/OT asset and lifecycle management
- Further develop IT/OT structures in SAP, ServiceNow, and other tools
- Operate and continuously develop service-based offerings
- Provide expert support to Customer Support
- Ensure knowledge transfer and create technical documentation
- Maintain training materials
