Requirements

  • •Database administration knowledge for Oracle Server databases
  • •Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager, Data Guard, and RMAN
  • •Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting
  • •Basic system management knowledge of RedHat Linux
  • •Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for analysis
  • •High motivation and organization skills
  • •Willingness to be on call and occasionally work on Saturdays
  • •Outlook and Microsoft Office skills
  • •Good knowledge of German and English in speech and writing
  • •Team player with good communication skills

Tasks

  • •Install and maintain ORACLE Databases in test, simulation, and production environments
  • •Analyze and tune database performance
  • •Implement configuration changes using the change management system
  • •Troubleshoot and manage incidents and problems
  • •Participate in on-call duties and weekend work
