Requirements

  • •Experienced freelance ISO Lead Auditor
  • •ISO/IEC 17021 Lead Auditor Certification or equivalent
  • •Scope 17 accreditation
  • •Scope 18 accreditation or demonstrated expertise
  • •Multi-scope audit experience in ISO standards
  • •Fluent German (C1/C2 level)
  • •Fluent English (B2+ minimum)
  • •Minimum 6+ years as Lead Auditor
  • •Track record auditing industrial manufacturing facilities
  • •Experience with various audit types
  • •Knowledge of Austrian/EU industrial regulations

Tasks

  • •Conduct on-site audits at Austrian industrial facilities
  • •Assess production floors and inspect machinery
  • •Review management system documentation and technical specifications
  • •Interview key production, quality, and safety personnel
  • •Verify compliance with ISO standards and EU directives
  • •Evaluate process controls and calibration procedures
  • •Document findings, non-conformities, and observations
  • •Prepare audit reports in German and English
  • •Analyze manufacturing processes and quality control systems
  • •Assess machinery safety and risk management protocols
  • •Review environmental management and occupational safety practices
  • •Evaluate maintenance programs and supply chain quality
  • •Audit equipment commissioning and procurement specifications
