You will drive sustainable industrial growth by developing bankable investment pipelines and facilitating innovative financing. Your day-to-day involves bridging the gap between policy dialogue and concrete financial solutions.

Requirements

• •Master's degree in finance, economics, or business administration
• •Relevant PhD as an advantage
• •Five years of technical cooperation or portfolio project management experience
• •Desirable experience with sustainable financial instruments and products
• •Desirable experience in capacity-building and financial literacy
• •Desirable familiarity with impact investment and ESG integration
• •Independent research, analysis, and solution recommendation skills
• •Clear and concise writing ability
• •Desirable ability to work in multi-cultural teams
• •Desirable experience evaluating developing country needs
• •Fluency in written and spoken English
• •Fluency or working knowledge in French
• •Desirable knowledge of ECOWAS or SADC member state languages

Tasks

• •Analyze economic and social data for projects
• •Identify and justify new project opportunities
• •Appraise and adjust project proposals
• •Formulate proposals based on technical inputs
• •Develop project management schedules and methods
• •Coordinate with government and donor officials
• •Monitor project execution and progress reports
• •Conduct project briefings and debriefings

• •Deploy COMFAR and gender lens tools
• •Prepare bankable investment opportunities
• •Develop investment-ready pipelines and business cases
• •Conduct feasibility studies and financial modeling
• •Perform environmental and social assessments
• •Prepare implementation plans with budgets and KPIs
• •Facilitate access to innovative financing solutions
• •Link technical compliance to financial viability
• •Promote investment through matchmaking and outreach
• •Manage B2B meetings and lead generation
• •Engage with DFIs and impact investors
• •Enhance policy dialogue between governments and investors
• •Translate dialogue into implementable policy packages
