Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or STEM field
- Strong interest in transactions and corporate finance
- Previous work experience or internships in Transaction/Corporate Finance (bank, Private Equity fund, consulting firm, or Big4) (advantageous)
- Interest in or experience with international clients
- Experience with multiple accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, local standards)
- Good communication and presentation skills (English and French, verbal and written)
- Additional knowledge in German (welcomed)
- High level of Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Comfort with AI-powered tools
- Willingness to integrate AI into work processes

Tasks
- Perform financial due diligence for company sales or acquisitions
- Identify risks and items for purchase price consideration
- Provide input to share and asset purchase agreements
- Apply state-of-the-art analytics tools
- Drive digital solution application within TCF
- Prepare transaction documents like information memorandums
- Prepare teasers and management presentations
- Prepare potential buyer and target lists
- Assist with outreach to interested parties
- Populate virtual data rooms
- Support Q&A during due diligence
- Support transaction negotiation phases
- Assist with signing and closing preparations
- Perform company and corporate valuations
- Utilize market multiples and DCF method for valuations
- Conduct industry and comparable company research
- Analyze business models
- Analyze cost of capital
- Carry out company and asset valuations
- Apply various valuation methods and international standards
- Prepare detailed reports on due diligence findings
- Outline valuation and assumptions in reports
- Create financial models
- Prepare data analysis of large databases
- Prepare data visualization of large databases
- Evaluate intangible assets for purchase price allocation (PPA)
- Apply IFRS 3 for intangible asset evaluation
- Prepare and review impairment tests per IAS 36
- Prepare and review complex securities valuations per IFRS 2
- Support EY Audit Teams on impairment test projects
- Assist with cost of capital computations for audit teams
