Requirements

  • •Studying in Energy Systems, Renewable Energy Systems, Energy Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Informatics, Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering, or similar
  • •Enrolled at an Austrian university for at least 3 semesters
  • •Programming capabilities (Python, R, Julia) beneficial
  • •Interest and knowledge in mathematical algorithms
  • •Good knowledge in electricity, gas and heat system/markets
  • •Interest in innovative topics in energy economics
  • •Interest in multidisciplinary teamwork
  • •Good verbal and written English and/or German skills

Education

Currently in higher education

Tasks

  • •Contribute to achieving climate goals
  • •Gain insights into national and international research projects
  • •Choose from a wide range of tasks based on your study program
  • •Engage in programming activities
  • •Support the development of simulation and optimization models for decarbonization
  • •Conduct statistical analysis of measurement data using modern tools
  • •Prepare graphical representations of results for project reports
