Requirements

  • •Enrolled full-time student in systems/software/manufacturing engineering
  • •Keen interest in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and modelling languages like SysML or UML
  • •Programming skills in an object-oriented language (e.g., Python or Java)
  • •First experiences with APIs (e.g., REST)
  • •Good understanding of software architecture concepts and experience with data formats such as JSON and XML
  • •Ability to work independently and responsibly
  • •High intrinsic motivation, teamwork and communication skills
  • •Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • •Willingness to pass on competences in a team and exchange skills
  • •Fluent English and preferably good German skills

Tasks

  • •Analyze engineering processes and interoperability challenges
  • •Gain insights into the SysML v2 standard and its API for model access
  • •Develop an innovative architecture for data mappings between engineering tools
  • •Implement and integrate a proof-of-concept for mapping rules
  • •Validate the model-driven concept with a practical data exchange scenario
  • •Evaluate the prototype for flexibility, maintainability, and traceability
  • •Participate in regular workshops and exchanges with MBSE and software architecture colleagues
