- Fully qualified lawyer
- Civil Law qualified lawyer
- At least 10 years professional experience in legal department or law firm
- Fluency in German and English
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical, diagnostic, medical device, or life sciences industries
- Experience in regional role for multi-national corporation
Tasks
- Provide general legal advice to local Country Management Teams
- Collaborate with global functions within the Agilent Legal group
- Support business units in anticipating and resolving disputes
- Protect Agilent's assets and technology
- Coordinate legal matters with outside counsel
- Manage legal expenses effectively
- Oversee local entity corporate matters
- Ensure legal compliance and draft necessary documents
- Advise on employment law and regulatory matters
- Provide competition law counseling and data protection advice
- Work with the Commercial Contracts Legal team on local law advice
- Participate in acquisition integration projects
- Maintain internal databases and improve document templates
- Manage legal interactions with local government agencies
- Assist in statutory compliance and product regulatory matters
- Manage litigation in North Europe and collaborate on major disputes
- Build relationships with internal business clients as a trusted advisor
