- Passion for sustainability and hands-on lab work
- Enjoyment of experimental trial-and-error
- Ability to identify patterns in data using plotting tools
- Organized work manner and disciplined work ethic
- Thrive in startup environment, adapt quickly, take initiative
- Cooperative team player, enjoy working with diverse backgrounds
Tasks
- Operate and optimize pilot-scale absorption system
- Conduct systematic experiments to identify process parameters
- Evaluate liquid distribution in absorber column
- Analyze CO₂ uptake behavior under varying conditions
- Process experimental data to evaluate plant performance
- Identify chemical trends and create clear visualizations
- Investigate subsystem components for optimization
- Support upgrades to experimental setup
- Monitor crystallization phenomena for system stability
- Learn safety protocols of pilot facilities
- Understand fundamental chemistry and engineering principles
- Shadow experienced engineers for control system training
- Run independent experimental series
- Provide actionable data sets to R&D team
- Lead specific optimization projects
- Act as subject matter expert for daily plant performance
- Contribute to design alternatives for scale-up facility
