Requirements

• •Degree in economics, related field, or relevant professional training
• •Minimum 10 years' experience in strategic buying, purchasing, or merchandising
• •Expertise in international sourcing, category management, and complex negotiations
• •Ability to lead international teams and intercultural competence
• •Knowledge of market-oriented purchasing strategies and supply market dynamics
• •Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• •Business fluent English and advantage of additional languages
• •Willingness to travel internationally

Tasks

• •Develop category and sourcing strategies
• •Align purchasing goals with corporate objectives
• •Ensure supply security and risk diversification
• •Lead and manage the category purchasing team
• •Set KPIs and monitor team performance
• •Foster a culture of empowerment
• •Manage the purchasing category budget
• •Identify short- and mid-term risks and opportunities
• •Drive strategic supplier relationships and negotiations
• •Expand and enhance the supplier network
• •Identify new global sources of supply
• •Optimize the global supplier portfolio
• •Provide insights on market dynamics and innovations
• •Collaborate with internal departments and business partners
• •Deputize for the Director of Purchasing
