- Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and testing managers
- Drive new product introduction and MAIT readiness
- Lead capacity ramp-up for program needs
- Define and implement business cases for investments
- Lead internal CAPEX and industrialization projects
- Contribute to transformation and digitalization initiatives
- Focus on upstream supply chain integration
- Conduct make-or-buy and outsourcing activities
- Establish and execute industrialization projects
- Perform feasibility assessments and design-to-manufacturing & -test
- Execute technology roadmaps
- Lead operational production ramp-up for new products
- Use APQP methods for production readiness
- Lead value stream mapping
- Anticipate and mitigate bottlenecks
- Optimize material and hardware flow
- Quantify impact on lead-time, cycle times, and unit costs
- Support digitalization initiatives
- Implement data-driven tools across the organization
- Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction
- Optimize unit product cost and first pass yields
- Build a robust, scalable upstream supply chain
- Lead make-or-buy decisions
- Screen and select suppliers
- Assess supplier capabilities
- Transfer processes to suppliers
- Manage suppliers in series production
- Support marketing and sales with cost estimates
- Conduct risk assessments
- Plan programme execution
- Represent industrialization possibilities to upper management
- Interact with customers in production readiness reviews
- Engage experts across functions
