Requirements

  • Degree in relevant field or 5 years relevant experience
  • Experience in HSE systems and cGMP or regulated environments
  • Experience building injury-free cultures and HSE compliance knowledge
  • Ideal training and certification in radiation safety
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Skills in Auditing, Change Control, and Risk Management
  • Knowledge of CAPAs, GMP, GDP, and RCA
  • Leadership and training skills

Tasks

  • Lead the site leadership team in creating an injury-free work environment
  • Protect employees from radiation and other workplace hazards
  • Implement the company's defined HSE roadmap across all site functions
  • Act as the site's subject matter expert for radiation safety
  • Manage radioactive materials from raw materials to waste disposal
  • Ensure strict adherence to environmental and emergency management standards
  • Coordinate timely applications and renewals for all HSE permits
  • Support regulatory inspections and audits to ensure continuous operations
  • Serve as the designated site Radiation Safety Officer
  • Develop project-specific HSE strategies and select competent team members
  • Verify the HSE competency of internal and external resources
  • Ensure all external contractors have comprehensive HSE plans
  • Design site-specific HSE by Design procedures with leadership
  • Align project hazard potential with site and project management
