HR Generalist / HR Operations(m/w/x)
End-to-end HR operational support for employee life cycle activities across Europe at a global online research firm. Fluent German and English (C1/C2) and Workday HRIS experience required. Work abroad option, 15% employer pension contribution.
Requirements
- 3 years of HR operations experience
- Fluent German and English skills (C1/C2)
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws
- Experience using Workday as HRIS
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Agile and adaptable in fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused with positive experience understanding
- Hands-on with stakeholder management skills
- Personable with great communication skills
- Degree in HR or similar qualification (preferred)
- CBA or Union environment experience (preferred)
- Experience with Works Councils (preferred)
- Proficiency in other European languages (preferred)
- Experience working with Jira (preferred)
Tasks
- Provide end-to-end HR operational support.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws.
- Deliver employee life cycle activities across Europe.
- Serve as a contact for employees and managers.
- Onboard new starters and manage employee changes.
- Administer family leave policies and terminations.
- Address employee queries regarding policies and benefits.
- Support onboarding and local HR orientation.
- Assist with monthly payroll administration.
- Manage benefit administration and employee files.
- Process termination cases and create leaver documentation.
- Prepare reports for leave management and external agencies.
- Produce offer letters and employment contracts.
- Support annual promotion and pay review processes.
- Ensure HR processes comply with local regulations.
- Utilize Workday for employee data management.
- Conduct regular audits for data accuracy.
- Collaborate with global HR Operations and partners.
- Participate in ad hoc HR Operations projects.
- Review processes for operational efficiency.
- Support HR Operations during team absences.
- Contribute to HR process optimization initiatives.
