Requirements

Tasks

  • Manage the Laboratory Services division.
  • Monitor maintenance of laboratory infrastructure.
  • Organize responsibilities of Technical Assistants and Lab Coordinators.
  • Coordinate shared use of analytical laboratory equipment.
  • Train staff on laboratory equipment usage.
  • Organize external access to laboratory infrastructure.
  • Oversee utilization of teaching and research laboratories.
  • Conduct safety briefings for new staff.
  • Assist with cross-laboratory safety issues.
  • Catalog chemical and biological materials university-wide.
  • Fulfill responsibilities as an appointed safety officer.
  • Delegate occupational safety duties in shared laboratories.

  • Bachelor's degree
