- Experience in tech-driven or regulated environment
- Deep knowledge of European compliance frameworks
- Knowledge of GDPR, CSRD, AI Act
- Overseeing compliance and data protection across markets
- US compliance and privacy aspects experience (plus)
- Strong investigative and analytical skills
- Ability to assess risks and provide insights
- Exceptional communication skills
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence decision making
- Hands-on approach
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity
- Implementing compliance strategies in fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team
- Ability to work with exceptional speed
- Managing high-pressure situations and tight deadlines
- Maintaining total accuracy
- Professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CIPP/E, CIPM, AIGP or similar) (plus)
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in German
- Additional European language (strong advantage)

Tasks
- Ensure compliance with data protection laws and corporate regulations
- Architect and implement comprehensive data protection and compliance systems
- Monitor and enhance the Compliance Management System (CMS)
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes and assess their business impact
- Advise senior leadership on compliance risks and provide solutions
- Develop and implement compliance policies and internal controls
- Lead and oversee audits, risk assessments, and investigations
- Act as primary point of contact for data protection authorities
- Design and deliver compliance and ethics training programs
- Report on data protection and compliance issues
- Collaborate with tech, product, people, and information security teams
- Lead and mentor the compliance and data protection team
- Foster a culture of accountability and ethical decision-making
