- Experience deploying ML systems under strict constraints
Tasks
- Lead technical vision and roadmap for Lakera's detector and defense models
- Manage and grow the Detectors Group, recruiting top ML and software engineering talent
- Develop senior ICs and tech leads, building a management layer as the organization scales
- Partner with Product, Research, GTM, and other Engineering teams to shape the detection roadmap
- Translate customer needs into engineering priorities
- Drive architectural and modeling decisions for production defense systems
- Ensure high standards of quality, reliability, latency, and scalability
- Establish processes for experimentation, evaluation, deployment, and iteration
- Design the organization for rapid growth while maintaining execution velocity
