Requirements
- Degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or related field
- 2+ years surveying or GNSS experience
- Practical experience with surveying workflows
- Understanding of Reference Systems and Datums
- Proficiency in precise positioning techniques
- Ability to manage hardware and equipment
- Ability to create test strategies
- Ability to create detailed technical documentation
- Understanding of networking and file protocols
- Familiarity with Linux as a plus
- Basic knowledge of Python or similar
- Willingness to use AI-assisted coding tools
- Effective teamwork and minimal supervision
Tasks
- Conduct static, kinematic, and field testing
- Test GNSS receivers across various sectors
- Focus on positioning engine accuracy
- Drive the firmware release validation process
- Execute and expand comprehensive test plans
- Challenge test plans beyond standard regression
- Analyze test data and generate Ground Truth
- Produce performance plots, statistics, and reports
- Develop automated testing and monitoring tools
- Utilize proprietary GNSS validation tools
- Manage the GNSS Lab and test van
- Maintain local CORS and RF infrastructure
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams
