Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in FP&A, Controlling, or Corporate Finance, preferably in manufacturing (mechanical engineering ideal)
  • Strong expertise in Operations/Sales Finance FP&A in business-driven environment
  • Proven experience supporting production topics (cost structures, margins, efficiency, performance tracking) in manufacturing
  • Extensive experience in management reporting, financial storytelling, and presentations for senior leadership/Board
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills, translating data to business insights
  • Excellent Excel skills, advanced Power BI and Power Query expertise
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, supporting business decision-making
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, interest in improving financial processes/reporting

Tasks

  • Build and develop FP&A function for Operations and Sales
  • Partner with business leaders to understand performance drivers
  • Provide actionable financial insights to stakeholders
  • Develop and enhance financial models for forecasting and budgeting
  • Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses for decision-making
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports
  • Analyze variance and profitability in business performance
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ensure alignment between operational plans and financial targets
  • Drive reporting automation using Power BI, Power Query, and Excel
  • Contribute to FP&A standards and methodologies
  • Develop future-ready financial steering capabilities
