Forecast and Planning Analyst(m/w/x)
Forecasting subscriber growth and ARPU for mobile and broadband services at a telecommunications company. 3+ years in planning or analytics roles required. Equal pay for work of equal value, Swiss LGBTI label.
Requirements
- University degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Finance, Statistics, or related field
- 3+ years in planning, analytics, FP&A, or commercial analytics roles, ideally within telecommunications or subscription-based industries
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly desirable
- Ability to create highly accurate forecasts adapting to market changes, trends, and external factors
- Ability to derive actionable insights from complex data and communicate them clearly
- Structured, detail-oriented approach with excellent stakeholder management in cross-functional telco environments
- Fluent English; proficiency in another language (Italian, German, or French) is a strong advantage
Tasks
- Drive commercial performance through precise planning and advanced analytics
- Oversee subscriber growth and revenue forecasting for mobile and broadband services
- Lead planning and analytics for ARPU, churn, and other core telco KPIs
- Develop and maintain advanced analytics models and planning tools
- Analyze commercial strategies, promotions, and market dynamics
- Deliver scenario planning and impact assessments
- Monitor actual performance against plans and detect variances early
- Recommend targeted commercial adjustments
- Prepare monthly performance reports and long-term planning inputs
- Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Product, Sales, and BI teams
- Integrate analytics into campaigns, product launches, and distribution strategies
- Support annual budgeting and operational planning
- Prioritize telco roadmap with robust data analysis and business rationale
