Financial Support Officer(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience in Finance and Procurement, Business Administration, or related field
- Demonstrated experience in administrative/financial service in international environment
- Experience managing orders, invoices, monitoring payments, and ensuring compliance
- Ability to support large-scale scientific departments, experiments, and multidisciplinary groups
- Experience managing processes for special contributions, events, and operational activities
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborating skills for international scientific communities
- Proactive mindset, commitment to continuous learning, and ability to deliver high-quality work
- Accounting control and analysis
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Excel; Power BI is a plus
- Customer service experience coordinating meetings and events is a strong plus
- Experience with WordPress or similar web content management systems is an advantage
- Implementation of administrative processes and procedures
- Flexibility: adapting quickly and resourcefully to shifting priorities

Tasks
- Monitor cost-of-living allowances and subsistence payments
- Follow up budget allocations for personnel
- Coordinate CMS collaboration contributions and invoice issuance
- Liaise with Funding Agency representatives
- Provide administrative support for financial management
- Analyse and follow up financial matters
- Prepare and maintain financial reports
- Update web pages and shared files
- Keep financial records accurate and up-to-date
- Manage Project Associate and Experimental Associate contracts
- Ensure compliance with CERN rules and procedures
- Support personnel with arrival and departure formalities
- Organise and schedule meetings and events
- Coordinate related administrative activities
- Assist with budget requests and allocations
- Support Memoranda of Understanding and specific agreements
- Ensure correct application of CERN rules and regulations
- Act as a back-up to the supervisor
