Field Service Engineer(m/w/x)

Description

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of High Power Charging Stations. Your daily tasks will involve diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and collaborating with teams to enhance service processes and minimize downtime.

Requirements

• •Knowledge of HPC facilities
• •Professional certification as an electrician
• •Additional certificates in Environmental, Health and Safety
• •Switching permit for low voltage
• •Advantageous medium voltage devices / transformers knowledge
• •2-3 years of professional experience as a Field Service Engineer
• •Get-it-done mentality
• •Availability for off-hours calls and work
• •Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent
• •Strong ability to work and communicate effectively with external service providers
• •Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• •Additional European languages a plus
• •Strong ability to be self-directed and work independently
• •Strong organization and documentation skills
• •Exceptional capacity for managing simultaneous activities and challenges
• •Skilled with MS Office
• •Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics

Tasks

• •Provide technical support to minimize system downtime
• •Conduct onsite root cause analysis and perform service, repair, and maintenance actions
• •Order and manage spare parts for HPC stations
• •Debug systems and perform remote diagnostics on field failures by reviewing logged data
• •Assist in developing processes, documentation, and diagnostic knowledge for standard service actions
• •Identify trends and patterns in field failures and provide feedback to the central team for improvements
• •Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to investigate new issues and implement countermeasures
